At WestJewel we pride ourselves on listening to our customers needs and endeavour at all times to give the best service we possibly can. The Company has invested heavily in an infrastructure and staffing designed to maximise the service to customers:
» Sales to the trade only « We closely monitor the entry of members of the public who wish to buy for themselves at wholesale prices. We have a strict policy of sales to the trade only aimed at protecting our customer’s interests.
» Product quality « Products are analysed and tested to ensure that all products supplied are of the highest quality in relation to price.
» Product variety « We are constantly seeking to add variety to our product ranges and are continually endeavouring to improve in this regard to fully satisfy our customers needs. We believe our progressive outlook will help our customers to sell more jewellery.
» Regular supply of basic items « We continue to strengthen existing relationships with manufacturers and have added some new ones to ensure that we maintain a regular and even supply of basic products.
» Showroom expansion « Our showroom has recently been extended (Sep 2007) to accommodate more products attractively displayed so that customers can view the jewellery at its best.
» Mail orders « We now have staff and systems dedicated to mail orders which has improved the turnaround time considerably. Customers should not have to wait longer than five working days for their goods from the time of placing the order.
» Security « WestJewel’s showroom is a weapon free zone and we have a trained security guard on duty at all times during working hours.
» Exclusivity « We have negotiated with certain overseas manufacturers the supply of products which are exclusive to WestJewel in Southern Africa. This means that we can offer our customers quality products which cannot be purchased elsewhere in Southern Africa. We will continue to introduce exclusive ranges on a selected basis.
» Industry information « We are constantly adding to our library of general information relating to the industry which includes educational material on jewellery.
Future Developments:
» Trade cards « We will be introducing trade cards to all our registered customers in order to protect their interests. Trade card holders on presentation of their card will be entitled to purchase jewellery from the showroom, catalogue or website.
